The BOSCH HC2061B5 is a carbide-tipped SDS-Plus rotary hammer drill bit designed for anchoring and through-hole drilling in concrete and masonry. Sold as a 5-piece pack, each bit measures 3/8 inch in diameter with a 4-inch flute length and a 6-inch overall length. The four-flute design promotes efficient debris evacuation during drilling, reducing heat buildup and extending bit life. This bit is installed by licensed contractors, masonry tradespeople, and electrical or mechanical trades requiring anchor holes in structural concrete. The SDS-Plus shank interfaces directly with SDS-Plus rotary hammer chucks without adapters.
This bit is suited for residential and commercial concrete and masonry applications including anchor bolt setting, conduit penetrations, and structural through-hole work. The carbide-tipped cutting edge handles the impact energy delivered by SDS-Plus rotary hammers, making it appropriate for poured concrete, concrete block, and brick. The 3/8 inch diameter is a common size for wedge anchors, sleeve anchors, and drop-in anchors used across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in installations. Each of the five bits in the pack is dimensionally identical, making the pack suitable for high-volume jobsite use or stocking a service vehicle.
Designed for use with SDS-Plus rotary hammers. Compatible with anchoring and through-hole drilling applications in concrete and masonry.
Installation is performed by qualified tradespeople using an SDS-Plus rotary hammer in hammer-drill mode for concrete and masonry. Confirm the hammer is powered off and the bit is fully seated in the SDS-Plus chuck before operation. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and hearing protection during use. Follow applicable OSHA and jobsite safety guidelines when drilling near rebar, conduit, or other embedded materials.
