The BOSCH HC2054 is a carbide-tipped rotary hammer drill bit designed for high-impact drilling into concrete and masonry. Fitted with an SDS-Plus shank, it locks into SDS-Plus rotary hammers without additional tooling and delivers consistent impact transfer throughout the drilling cycle. The 4-flute geometry provides efficient debris removal while the carbide tip maintains cutting edge durability under repeated use. With a 10-inch usable flute length and 12-inch overall length, this bit handles anchoring applications and through-hole drilling in standard and thick masonry assemblies. It meets ANSI standards and is sold as a single piece.
This bit is intended for use in concrete, block, brick, and general masonry substrates. Typical applications include anchor bolt holes, conduit penetrations, and through-hole drilling in structural concrete. It is well suited for commercial and residential construction sites where an SDS-Plus rotary hammer is the primary drilling tool. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, and concrete contractors regularly use bits of this type when setting anchors or running penetrations through concrete walls and slabs.
Designed for use with SDS-Plus rotary hammers. Compatible with any tool that accepts the standard SDS-Plus shank interface.
Installation should be performed by the qualified trade professional operating the rotary hammer on site. Confirm the hammer tool is set to rotary hammer mode and the bit is fully seated and locked in the SDS-Plus chuck before drilling. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and dust control measures when drilling concrete or masonry. Follow applicable OSHA silica dust standards when dry drilling in confined or enclosed spaces.
