Rated at up to 20 SEER2 and up to 9.5 HSPF2, this 3-ton unit pairs with R454B refrigerant-based IDS Light Plus and IDS Premium Connected condensing units. It features a constant torque, multi-speed ECM blower motor designed for two-stage operation and a factory-installed TXV metering device. The all-aluminum evaporator coil provides superior corrosion resistance. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning of this unit in ducted split-system applications.
This air handler is designed for ducted split-system heat pump installations in residential settings. It supports upflow or horizontal-right configurations from the factory and is field-convertible to horizontal-left or downflow, making it adaptable across a wide range of installation scenarios. The unit operates on 208-230/1/60 power and is compatible with most standard 24-volt AC heat pump thermostats. Supplemental or emergency electric heat is supported via accessory kits available in 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 kW ratings. The integrated filter rack with tool-less door access and slide-out blower and coil assembly are designed to reduce service time on callbacks and seasonal maintenance visits.
Designed to communicate and operate with R454B IDS Light Plus and IDS Premium Connected condensing units. Compatible with most standard 24-volt AC heat pump thermostats. Supports 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 kW electric heat accessory kits.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing the unit or accessing internal components. Verify refrigerant line sizing, condensate drain routing, and electrical supply voltage match system requirements prior to startup. Both primary and secondary condensate drain fittings are provided; ensure proper trap and drain configuration per local codes.
