The BOSCH 8733980429 is a complete 2-zone mini split system kit rated at 27,000 BTU, designed for licensed HVAC contractors installing multi-zone ductless cooling and heating. The kit bundles the outdoor unit, two 12,000 BTU indoor air handlers, and two 25-foot line sets into a single package, reducing sourcing time and ensuring component compatibility out of the box. This Generation 4 system is built for residential and light commercial applications where independent zone control across two spaces is required. All major components are included and matched from the factory.
This kit is suited for two-zone residential installations such as dual-room additions, open-floor-plan splits, or multi-room retrofit projects where running ductwork is not practical. The two included 12,000 BTU indoor units allow independent temperature management in each zone. The 25-foot line sets are pre-specified to match the included indoor and outdoor unit pairings. HVAC professionals will find this a straightforward matched-system package for new construction or retrofit ductless work.
Kit includes IDU 8733962673 (x2), ODU 8733962696 (x1), and line set 8733951011 (x2) as factory-matched components. Designed as a complete 2-zone ductless mini split system; individual components are matched to this configuration and should not be substituted without verifying system compatibility.
Installation must be performed by an EPA 608-certified HVAC technician. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the installation area before beginning any wiring or refrigerant line work. Follow local mechanical and electrical codes, including NEC requirements for disconnect sizing and circuit protection for mini split outdoor units. Do not braze, pressure-test, or charge the refrigerant circuit without verified system evacuation and adherence to the manufacturer installation instructions.
