The BOSCH 7-735-052-328 is a 3-ton vertical packaged geothermal heat pump unit rated for 208-230 volt, 60 Hz, single-phase power. It is part of the Greensource Si Series CE platform, designed for extended-range geothermal applications in residential and light commercial settings. The unit integrates a two-stage compressor and a variable-speed ECM constant CFM motor, delivering steady airflow across a wide static pressure range up to 1 inch w.g. The cabinet measures 21.5 x 26 x 47.25 inches and features a right return air configuration with top discharge. A cupro-nickel coaxial heat exchanger is factory-installed. Licensed HVAC technicians perform installation and commissioning on this type of equipment.
This packaged unit is configured for vertical installation with front-facing water connections and a right-side return air opening. It is suited for ground-loop geothermal systems in extended-range applications where entering water temperatures fall outside the range supported by standard-rated units. The cupro-nickel coaxial coil option is selected for installations where water quality or chemistry presents a corrosion risk to standard copper coaxial coils. The unit can serve as a direct replacement for an existing geothermal package unit or be installed in new construction. The all-in-one packaged design simplifies rough-in compared to split-system geothermal configurations.
Designed for extended-range geothermal ground-loop systems requiring a vertical packaged configuration with right return air and top discharge. Consult the Greensource Si Series CE engineering documentation for loop design parameters and entering water temperature limits applicable to this unit.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with geothermal heat pump systems and local mechanical codes. Shut off all electrical power and isolate the water loop before making any connections or performing service. Water connections are swivel-type FPT fittings; follow local plumbing code requirements for loop piping materials and isolation valves. The unit is designed for front-access service and supports in-operation servicing through insulated bulkheads, but always de-energize before opening electrical compartments.
