The BOOTZ 3393wht is a 60-inch alcove soaking bathtub built from seamless heavy-gauge steel with a porcelain enamel finish and Syniron composite backing. The Syniron reinforcement layer delivers thermal retention and structural rigidity comparable to cast iron while keeping overall weight manageable for two-person installation. The porcelain enamel surface resists chemicals, staining, and impact under daily residential and light commercial use. A full-length support pad runs beneath the tub shell to distribute load evenly, reduce flex, and dampen sound. The left-hand drain configuration and alcove mounting profile make this unit a direct fit for standard three-wall alcove rough-in work. Water capacity is 42 gallons. Installed weight is 80 pounds.
This bathtub is suited for residential new construction and remodel projects where an alcove layout is already framed. The 60-inch by 30-inch rectangular footprint matches the most common alcove rough-in dimensions in North American residential construction. The left-hand drain placement requires the drain stub-out to be positioned at the left end of the alcove when viewed from the open side. The 2-1/8-inch drain opening accepts standard tub drain trim kits. Overflow height is 11-1/2 inches from the tub floor. This model is finished in white and ships as a domestic product.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-construction fit for standard 60-inch by 30-inch three-wall alcove bathtub installations with a left-hand drain configuration.
Installation of this alcove bathtub should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable edition of the International Plumbing Code and local amendments. Power off any GFCI-protected circuits in the work area before beginning rough-in work. Verify the alcove framing dimensions and drain stub-out location match the left-drain configuration before setting the tub. The unit must be fully supported along its base according to the manufacturer installation sheet; use mortar bed or approved tub support system as required by local code.
