The BONEHAM SFT365JB is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Manufactured from steel, it features an 11/32-inch inside diameter and a 9/16-inch body outside diameter, with a 5/16-inch length under the head. The head outside diameter measures 7/8 inch with a 1/4-inch head height. This is a headed, renewable bushing that installs into a liner bushing or jig plate by slip fit, allowing quick removal and replacement without disturbing the tooling fixture. It is compatible with the LS-TW-2 lock screw for positive retention during operation. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders working in production or job-shop environments are the primary installers.
The SFT365JB is suited for jig and fixture applications in metalworking and machining environments, both in production shops and maintenance settings. Its SF industry-code designation identifies it as a standard slip-fixed bushing, making it a direct fit in liner bushings designed to that standard. The renewable design allows the bushing to be swapped out as the bore wears without replacing the entire jig plate assembly, reducing downtime and tooling costs in repetitive drilling operations.
Designed as an SF-industry-code slip-fixed renewable bushing compatible with the LS-TW-2 lock screw. Fits standard liner bushings designed to accept SF-series headed slip-fixed bushings.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists as part of jig and fixture assembly or maintenance. The bushing slips into a compatible liner bushing already pressed into the jig plate and is secured with the LS-TW-2 lock screw. Do not press or force the bushing into a liner that does not match the body outside diameter, as this will damage the bore or bushing. Always confirm inside diameter tolerance is appropriate for the cutting tool shank diameter before installing.
