The BONEHAM SFT365ID is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Built from steel, this head-type bushing installs into a drill jig liner and locks in place with a compatible LS-TW-2 lock screw, preventing rotation and axial movement during machining. The bore carries an inside diameter of 0.295 inches with a close tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0005 inches, ensuring consistent hole location and accurate tool guidance across repeated production cycles. With a body outside diameter of 0.5625 inches and a length under head of 0.3125 inches, this bushing fits standard liner configurations and suits high-volume jig tooling setups.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jig fixtures across manufacturing, metalworking, and precision machining environments. It is a renewable bushing, meaning it can be replaced without disturbing the liner or surrounding jig plate, making it practical for production tooling where bushings wear and require periodic changeout. Machinists, tool and die makers, and fixture builders working in job shops or production facilities will find this a straightforward drop-in replacement for worn or damaged slip-fixed bushings of the SF industry code designation.
Designed for use with LS-TW-2 series lock screws in standard SF-code slip-fixed drill jig liner assemblies. Renewable bushing configuration is compatible with matching fixed liner bushings of the appropriate body OD.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists fitting or maintaining drill jig fixtures. Ensure the mating liner bushing bore is clean and free of chips or burrs before inserting the slip-fixed bushing. Align the head notch with the lock screw position and secure with the appropriate LS-TW-2 lock screw to prevent rotation during use. Always de-energize and lock out any machine the jig fixture is mounted to before performing bushing changeouts.
