The BONEHAM SFT364IZ is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. It carries the industry bushing code SF and features a 0.339 inch inside diameter (letter size R), a 9/16 inch body outside diameter, and a 7/8 inch head outside diameter. The bushing is manufactured from steel, providing the hardness and wear resistance required for repeated tooling cycles. The head style retains the bushing in the jig plate under axial load, and the renewable design allows field replacement without scrapping the fixture body. Installation is secured with an LS-TW-2 compatible lock screw, sold separately.
This bushing is used in drill jig applications across metalworking, machining, and manufacturing environments. It is suited for production settings where consistent hole location is critical across multiple workpieces. The slip-fixed configuration allows the bushing to be removed and replaced when worn while the liner bushing remains in the jig plate. Typical installers include tool and die makers, machinist technicians, and fixture builders working in job shops or production facilities. The 1/4 inch length under head suits moderate plate thickness applications.
Designed as an OEM-style slip-fixed drill bushing compatible with LS-TW-2 lock screws. Intended for use with standard liner bushings sized for a 9/16 inch body outside diameter in drill jig assemblies.
Installation is performed by machinists or tool and die technicians as part of jig and fixture assembly or maintenance. Ensure the liner bushing and jig plate bore are clean and free of chips before seating the slip-fixed bushing. Secure the bushing with the correct LS-TW-2 lock screw torqued to fixture design specifications. Do not hammer the bushing directly into the liner without confirming correct diameter match, as this may damage the close inside diameter tolerance.
