The BONEHAM SFT364IH is a slip-fixed drill bushing manufactured from steel, designed to guide cutting tools with precise repeatability in jig and fixture applications. Carrying industry code SF, this bushing features a 0.302 inch inside diameter (Letter N bore) with a tight inside diameter tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0005 inches, ensuring accurate tool guidance and minimal runout during drilling, reaming, or boring operations. The head-style body seats flush against the jig plate surface and is retained in place using an LS-TW-2 compatible lock screw. Machinists, toolmakers, and production line technicians specify this bushing when repeatable hole location is required across high-volume part runs.
This slip-fixed bushing is suited for use in drill jigs and production fixtures in both job shop and manufacturing environments. The SF installation method allows the bushing to be inserted and locked into a liner bushing already pressed into the jig body, making it straightforward to swap bushings when changing tool diameters or replacing a worn bushing without disturbing the fixture setup. Its steel construction provides durability under repeated tool contact in light-to-moderate duty applications.
Designed for use with LS-TW-2 series lock screws and compatible liner bushings accepting a 9/16 inch body outside diameter. Confirm liner bushing bore and lock screw thread pattern before installation.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or toolmaker using standard hand tools. Verify that the receiving liner bushing bore and lock screw thread are compatible with this bushing before assembly. Clean the liner bore and bushing body of chips and debris prior to insertion to protect the tight-tolerance surfaces. Do not force the bushing into the liner with impact tools, as this may damage the ground bore or alter the fit.
