The BONEHAM SFT364ID is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Manufactured from steel, this bushing seats into a jig plate and is held in position by a lock screw rather than being pressed in permanently, allowing for quick changeout in production environments. The inside diameter is 0.295 inches with a tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0005 inches, ensuring tight, repeatable tool guidance. The body outside diameter measures 9/16 inches (0.5625 inches), the head outside diameter is 7/8 inches, and the length under the head is 1/4 inches. Assigned industry code SF, this bushing meets standard drill jig bushing classifications used across precision machining and tooling applications.
The SFT364ID is suited for use in drill jig fixtures found in machine shops, fabrication facilities, and production tooling setups. It is a renewable bushing, meaning it is intended to be replaced when worn without requiring modification to the jig plate. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be removed and reinstalled quickly, making it practical for fixtures that use multiple bushing sizes at the same station. It is compatible with the LS-TW-2 lock screw for positive retention during operation. This bushing is appropriate for applications where tool guidance accuracy and bushing service life both factor into tooling decisions.
Compatible with LS-TW-2 lock screws. Designed as an OEM-style slip-fixed renewable drill bushing for use in standard drill jig plates and tooling fixtures that accept SF-style head bushings.
Installation and replacement of drill jig bushings is typically performed by toolmakers or machining professionals. Before servicing a jig fixture, ensure the associated machine is powered down and all cutting tools are removed. The lock screw must be fully disengaged before attempting to remove or seat a slip-fixed bushing. Do not force the bushing into the liner if resistance is felt, as this may indicate a dimensional mismatch or debris in the liner bore.
