The BONEHAM SFT246GO is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools accurately and repeatedly in jig and fixture applications. Manufactured from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, this bushing provides consistent bore alignment under heavy production cycles. It features a head for positive seating against the jig plate surface. The 7/32 inch inside diameter and 3/8 inch body outside diameter make it suited for close-tolerance drilling, reaming, and similar operations. The renewable design allows the bushing to be replaced without reworking the jig plate, reducing downtime on production tooling.
This bushing is intended for use in drill jigs and fixture tooling across metalworking, machining, and fabrication environments. It is typically installed by toolmakers, machinists, and fixture builders in both job-shop and production-floor settings. The slip-fixed installation method allows the bushing to be seated and secured without a press fit, making changeout straightforward. It is compatible with the LS-TW-2 lock screw for positive retention during machining operations. Applicable in fixtures where precise hole location must be maintained across repeated setups.
Designed for use with the LS-TW-2 compatible lock screw. Meets ANSI dimensional standards for slip-fixed renewable drill bushings. Verify jig liner inside diameter and plate thickness against bushing body OD and length-under-head before installation.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists. Before replacing or seating this bushing, ensure the machine is powered down and any fixturing is secured. The slip-fixed design requires a matching liner already installed in the jig plate; do not install directly into an unlined plate bore. Use the specified LS-TW-2 lock screw to retain the bushing during operation and confirm the screw is fully engaged before running any cutting tools.
