The BONEHAM SF326HB is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision during drilling, reaming, and similar machining operations. Built to ANSI standards, it features a 0.242 inch inside diameter (Letter C), a 1/2 inch body outside diameter, and a 3/8 inch length under the head. The bushing is manufactured from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, delivering the wear resistance required for repeated fixture use in production environments. The headed design and LS-1 lock screw compatibility secure the bushing firmly in the drill jig or fixture plate, preventing rotation and axial movement during operation. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders are the primary installers.
The SF326HB is suited for use in drill jigs, fixture plates, and tooling setups in both job shop and production machining environments. The SF slip-fixed bushing style is commonly installed where a bushing must be locked in place but may need to be replaced during the service life of the fixture. It is appropriate for use with fixed renewable liner bushings and is compatible with standard LS-1 lock screws. The 51/64 inch head outside diameter and 1/4 inch head height allow it to seat flush or proud of the jig plate surface depending on the fixture design.
Designed as an ANSI-standard slip-fixed replacement bushing for use with compatible fixed renewable liner bushings and LS-1 series lock screws in standard drill jig applications.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists as part of drill jig assembly or maintenance. Before replacing the bushing, ensure the fixture is removed from the machine and all tooling is clear. The bushing is inserted into the liner bushing and locked with the appropriate LS-1 lock screw. Verify that the inside diameter is clean and free of burrs before use to maintain tool guidance accuracy.
