The BONEHAM SF326FX is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. It features a 0.1935-inch inside diameter, a 0.5000-inch body outside diameter, and a 3/8-inch length under the head. Manufactured from steel and hardened to 60-65 HRC, this bushing delivers the wear resistance required for repeated drilling, reaming, or boring operations. The SF bushing industry code designates it as a headed, renewable slip-fixed type that locks into a liner bushing for accurate, repeatable tool guidance. Installation is compatible with an LS-1 lock screw.
This bushing is suited for use in precision drill jigs in production machining environments. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the liner bushing already installed in the jig body, making it a practical choice for toolrooms and production floors where multiple operations are performed on the same fixture. It conforms to ANSI standards for drill bushing dimensions, ensuring interchangeability with compliant tooling setups.
Designed for use with ANSI-standard liner bushings and the LS-1 lock screw in slip-fixed drill jig applications.
Slip-fixed bushings are installed and removed by machinists or toolmakers using the appropriate lock screw driver and bushing press or arbor press. The liner bushing must already be installed in the jig plate before inserting this bushing. Always confirm the lock screw seats fully before running the cutting tool. Do not force the bushing into a liner with a mismatched bore diameter.
