The BONEHAM SF326EX is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed for precision hole location in jig and fixture applications. Built to the SF industry code, this bushing features an inside diameter of 0.159 inches (wire size 21) with a tight tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches, ensuring repeatable drill guidance with minimal deviation. The body outside diameter measures 0.500 inches with a length under the head of 0.375 inches. Constructed from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, the SF326EX is suited for production drilling environments where bushing wear resistance is critical. Toolroom machinists, jig borers, and fixture builders typically install this component.
This bushing is used in drill jigs and machining fixtures across manufacturing, maintenance, and tooling operations. The slip-fixed design allows the bushing to be installed into a liner bushing and locked in place with an LS-1 compatible lock screw, making it suitable for applications requiring quick bushing changeover or fixed positioning during a drilling operation. The head-type configuration provides a positive stop against the jig plate surface, which helps maintain consistent drill depth and bushing seating across repeated cycles.
Designed as an ANSI-standard SF-type slip-fixed drill bushing compatible with LS-1 lock screws and standard liner bushings used in drill jig and fixture assemblies.
Installation is performed by toolroom machinists or fixture technicians. The bushing is pressed or slipped into a properly sized liner bushing already installed in the jig plate, then secured with an LS-1 compatible lock screw. Ensure the mating liner bushing bore is clean and free of chips or burrs before installation. Follow your facility safety procedures and de-energize any associated machinery before servicing or replacing jig components.
