The BONEHAM SF3212GK is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. Built to industry code SF, this bushing features a 0.209 inch inside diameter, a 1/2 inch body outside diameter, and a 3/4 inch length under head. Constructed from steel, it delivers the hardness and wear resistance required for repetitive drilling operations. The headed design keeps the bushing positively seated in the liner, and the renewable construction means it can be pulled and replaced without disturbing the jig plate. Inside diameter tolerance is held to +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches for consistent hole location.
Slip-fixed bushings in the SF series are standard in production jig plates where a fixed bushing is needed but occasional replacement is anticipated. The SF3212GK suits metalworking, fabrication, and toolroom environments where close-tolerance hole guidance is critical across high-cycle drilling runs. Installation requires a compatible SF liner bushing already pressed into the jig plate. The bushing locks in place using an LS-1 compatible lock screw, securing it against rotation and lifting during the drilling cycle. It is packaged and sold individually.
Designed for use with SF-series liner bushings pressed into jig plates. Locks using an LS-1 compatible lock screw. Not counterbored. Refer to jig plate specifications to confirm liner inside diameter and body fit before installation.
Installation is performed by toolroom machinists or fixture builders using standard hand tools. Confirm the mating liner bushing is fully seated and undamaged before inserting the SF3212GK. Engage the LS-1 lock screw to the correct liner notch position to prevent rotation or lifting under drill thrust. Never force the bushing into a liner with an incompatible bore size, as this will distort the inside diameter and compromise hole location accuracy.
