The BONEHAM SF2016EG is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed for precision hole location in jig and fixture applications. Built to the SF industry standard, it features a 9/64 inch inside diameter, a 5/16 inch body outside diameter, and a 1 inch length under head. The headed design with a counterbored seating surface holds the bushing securely in a drill jig plate during drilling operations. Constructed from steel, this renewable bushing is compatible with the LS-1 lock screw, allowing it to be removed and replaced without disturbing the liner bushing pressed into the jig body.
Slip-fixed bushings of the SF type are standard in metalworking and machining environments where drill jig setups require reliable, repeatable hole guidance. This bushing fits into a pressed liner bushing already installed in the jig plate, locking in place with an LS-1 compatible set screw. Typical applications include production drilling, reaming, and boring operations in machine shops, tool rooms, and manufacturing facilities.
Designed for use with LS-1 compatible lock screws and standard liner bushings in SF-series drill jig setups per industry tooling standards.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolmakers during jig setup or bushing replacement. The slip-fixed bushing is inserted into the liner bushing already pressed into the jig plate and secured with an LS-1 lock screw. Ensure the jig fixture is secure and the drill press or machine spindle is powered off before servicing bushings. Do not force the bushing into the liner — proper fit should allow smooth insertion by hand.
