The BONEHAM PT288HG is a press fit headless drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools accurately during drilling, reaming, and boring operations. Manufactured from hardened steel with a surface hardness of 60 to 65 HRC, it provides the wear resistance needed for repeatable, precision hole location in production and tooling fixtures. The 0.25 inch inside diameter accepts standard E-size tooling, while the 0.4375 inch outside diameter seats firmly in the fixture plate without a retaining head. Overall bushing length is 0.5 inches. Machinists, tool and die makers, and fixture builders install this bushing in drill jigs where a flush, headless profile is required.
