The BONEHAM P264GX is a press fit headless drill bushing designed to guide drill bits with precision in jig and fixture applications. With an inside diameter of 15/64 inches and a body outside diameter of 13/32 inches, this bushing provides tight, repeatable hole location in production drilling operations. The overall bushing length is 1/4 inch. Manufactured from steel, the P264GX meets industry code P specifications and installs without a head, allowing for a flush or sub-flush seating profile. The inside diameter tolerance is held to +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches, which is appropriate for close-tolerance guidance work. This type of bushing is a standard component in tool and die, machining, and fabrication environments.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jigs and tooling fixtures where consistent hole placement is required across repeated operations. The headless profile keeps the bushing below or flush with the jig plate surface, making it appropriate for applications where a protruding flange would interfere with workpiece placement or clamping. It is a non-renewable style, meaning it is pressed permanently into the jig body. Typical users include tool and die makers, machinists, and production floor technicians working in metal fabrication or precision assembly operations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit component for drill jigs and tooling fixtures requiring a headless, press fit drill bushing with a 15/64 inch inside diameter and 13/32 inch outside diameter.
Installation is performed by tool and die makers or machinists using a press or arbor press to seat the bushing into a precisely reamed hole in the jig plate. The mating bore in the jig body must be held to the appropriate tolerance for an interference fit. Do not drive the bushing in with a hammer, as this can damage the bore alignment. Once pressed in, this bushing is not intended for removal or replacement.
