The BMI USA 4367 is a lead-free brass nipple designed for use in threaded plumbing assemblies. Measuring 3/8 inch in diameter and 7 inches in length, this close-pattern nipple connects threaded pipe sections in supply lines, distribution manifolds, and service risers. Its red-finish brass construction provides corrosion resistance suited to potable water and general plumbing service. Licensed plumbers install this fitting as part of threaded piping systems in both residential and light commercial applications. The lead-free designation meets current safe drinking water standards for potable water contact.
This nipple is used in threaded pipe assemblies requiring a 3/8-inch connection with a 7-inch length extension. Typical applications include water supply lines, fixture connections, and distribution branch lines in residential and commercial plumbing systems. Its standard NPT threading makes it compatible with conventional pipe fittings across a wide range of plumbing configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-fit nipple for 3/8-inch NPT threaded plumbing systems in residential and light commercial installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before beginning work. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to all male threads before assembly. Do not over-tighten threaded connections, as brass fittings can be damaged by excessive torque.
