The BMI USA 20107 is a 1-1/4 inch Schedule 300 extra heavy black malleable iron pipe union designed for threaded piping systems that require a reliable, demountable joint. Malleable iron construction gives this union the strength needed for high-pressure and high-cycle applications in gas, air, and steam distribution lines. The black finish is standard for non-potable gas and industrial piping. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this type of fitting where sections of pipe must be disconnected for service without disturbing the rest of the run.
