The BK LLC 109-813 is a 1/2-inch bronze float valve designed to control water levels in tanks and cisterns. Built from bronze for corrosion resistance, it features serrated high-tensile arms that allow precise water level adjustment without special tools. A machined flange provides structural support against the tank wall, and a locknut with washers secures the valve in place. The valve is rated for 125 psi and includes replaceable seals, extending service life without requiring full valve replacement. Dual inlet threading accommodates the connecting pipe and locknut, with a male outlet for downstream connection. Licensed plumbers and irrigation technicians are the typical installers for this type of valve.
This float valve is suited for residential and light commercial applications where automatic water level control is needed. Common installations include water storage tanks, livestock troughs, irrigation holding tanks, and plumbing cisterns. The serrated arm design allows on-site adjustment of the shut-off water level after installation. The bronze construction holds up in both potable and non-potable water systems where brass or plastic valves may not meet the required pressure or material specification.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation float valve for tanks and cisterns requiring a 1/2-inch connection and bronze construction at up to 125 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before removing an existing valve or fitting the 109-813 into a new tank wall penetration. Ensure the machined flange seats flush against the tank wall and the locknut is tightened securely with appropriate hand tools to prevent leaks under pressure. Do not exceed the 125 psi rated working pressure of the valve.
