The BK 510-304BG is a 3/4 inch 90-degree street galvanized malleable iron elbow, also known as a quarter bend. Designed for threaded pipe assemblies, this fitting transitions direction in a piping run using one male and one female NPT end, eliminating the need for a separate nipple at the street end. The galvanized malleable iron construction provides corrosion resistance and durability in both indoor and outdoor installations. Each fitting is individually flag tagged and carries the Mueller logo cast directly into the body. All dimensions, threads, and materials meet recognized ANSI and ASTM standards. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in residential and light commercial piping systems.
This elbow is suited for use in water supply, gas distribution, and general plumbing piping where a 90-degree directional change is required at a threaded connection point. The street configuration is commonly used where space is limited or where a fitting must thread directly into another fitting or valve without an intermediate nipple. Typical applications include residential water lines, boiler piping, and light industrial threaded pipe assemblies. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 5 units.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/4 inch NPT threaded pipe systems using standard malleable iron fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing codes. Shut off water or gas supply and depressurize the line before threading or unthreading any fitting. Apply an approved thread sealant or PTFE tape to all male threads before assembly. Do not overtighten, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive torque applied with power tools.
