The BK 496-243 is a braided stainless steel faucet connector designed for water supply connections to plumbing fixtures. The core is virgin PVC reinforced with polyester yarn braiding, then over-braided with 304 stainless steel for added strength. Chrome-plated brass hex nuts and washers provide a dependable hand-tight seal at both ends. Rated to a maximum temperature of 180 degrees F and a maximum working pressure of 125 psi, this connector suits demanding residential, commercial, and industrial water supply installations. Plumbers and plumbing contractors install this connector as a supply line between shutoff valves and faucets or fixtures.
This connector is suited for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications where a reliable, flexible water supply line is needed. The 3/8 inch compression inlet and 3/8 inch compression outlet configuration fits standard supply valve and fixture stub-out sizes commonly found in kitchens, bathrooms, and utility installations. At 20 inches in length, it accommodates typical under-sink and vanity rough-in dimensions without modification.
Approved for residential, commercial, and industrial water supply connections to plumbing fixtures. Suitable for use wherever a 3/8 inch compression x 3/8 inch compression flexible supply connector is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before removing the existing connector or making new connections. Hand-tighten the brass compression nuts onto the valve and fixture inlet, then snug with a wrench — avoid overtightening, which can crack the brass nut or fitting. Inspect for leaks at both connections after restoring water pressure.
