The BK 496-103 is a 12-inch braided stainless steel toilet supply connector designed for water supply connections to toilet fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing installations. The core is virgin PVC reinforced with polyester yarn braiding, then over-braided with 304 stainless steel for strength and long-term durability. Fittings are chrome-plated brass hex connector nuts with washers that seat hand-tight without tools. The connector is rated for a maximum working pressure of 125 psi and a maximum temperature of 180 degrees F. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle this connector as a standard rough-in or fixture replacement component.
This connector fits toilet rough-in supply lines where a 3/8-inch female compression (FC) inlet at the angle stop and a 7/8-inch ballcock (BC) inlet at the toilet tank are required. The 12-inch length suits typical residential toilet installations where the angle stop valve is in close proximity to the fixture. The braided stainless steel construction makes it suitable for applications where durability and corrosion resistance are priorities, including commercial restrooms and light industrial facilities.
Designed for toilet fixture water supply connections requiring a 3/8-inch female compression connection at the supply stop and a 7/8-inch ballcock connection at the toilet tank fill valve, with a 12-inch overall length.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply at the angle stop valve and relieve line pressure before removing the existing connector. Hand-tighten the brass nuts onto the supply stop and ballcock fittings, then snug with an adjustable wrench — do not overtighten brass fittings. Inspect for leaks at both connections after restoring water supply.
