The BK 496-034 is a braided stainless steel faucet connector designed for water supply connections to plumbing fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial installations. The core is constructed from virgin PVC reinforced with polyester yarn braiding, then over-braided with 304 stainless steel for strength and long service life. Chrome-plated brass hex nuts and washers deliver a dependable hand-tight seal without the need for additional thread sealant on the nuts. Rated to a maximum temperature of 180 degrees F and a maximum pressure of 125 psi, this connector meets the performance demands of typical supply line applications. IAPMO listed for code-compliant installations.
This connector is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial water supply connections to faucets, valves, and similar fixtures. The 3/8 inch compression by 3/8 inch compression end configuration and 24-inch length make it a practical choice for under-sink faucet supply installations where standard flexible supply lines are required. The braided stainless steel outer jacket provides mechanical protection against abrasion and accidental kinking in tight cabinet spaces.
Designed as a standard flexible supply line replacement for faucets and fixtures requiring 3/8 inch compression inlet connections. Approved for residential, commercial, and industrial water supply applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply at the stop valve and relieve line pressure before disconnecting the existing supply line. Hand-tighten the compression nuts fully, then snug with a wrench — avoid over-tightening brass nuts, which can crack or deform the seat. Verify there are no leaks at both connections after restoring water supply pressure.
