The BK 107-825LNL is a 1-inch full-port brass locking ball valve designed for use in water, oil, and gas systems requiring a secure, tamper-resistant shutoff. Rated at 600 psi WOG and 150 WSP, it handles a temperature range of -20 degrees F to 300 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding commercial and residential plumbing and mechanical applications. The valve features a blowout-proof stem, PTFE seat and packing, and a chrome-plated brass ball and stem. A rust-resistant heavy-duty lever handle with vinyl grip provides reliable manual operation. The locking feature prevents unauthorized valve operation in controlled-access systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this valve.
This valve is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, fuel gas distribution, and fire protection piping where a lockable isolation point is required. The full-port design minimizes pressure drop and maintains maximum flow rate through the valve body. Thread ends comply with ANSI B1.20.1, making it compatible with standard NPT-threaded piping installations. Its broad temperature and pressure ratings make it appropriate for steam, chilled water, gas, and oil service applications.
Thread ends comply with ANSI B1.20.1 for use with standard NPT-threaded pipe fittings. Suitable for water, oil, and gas service in residential and commercial piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) where applicable. Shut off supply pressure and depressurize the line before installation or removal. Inspect threads and apply appropriate thread sealant compatible with the service medium before making up connections. Do not overtighten threaded connections, as brass fittings are subject to thread damage under excessive torque.
