The BK 107-824LNL is a 3/4-inch brass locking ball valve designed for controlling flow in water, oil, and gas systems. It carries a 600 psi WOG (water, oil, gas) rating and a 150 WSP (working steam pressure) rating, making it suitable for demanding commercial and residential piping applications. The full-port design minimizes pressure drop across the valve for maximum flow rate. Key construction features include a blowout-proof stem, PTFE seat and packing, and a chrome-plated brass ball and stem. The rust-resistant heavy-duty lever handle includes a vinyl grip and locking capability to prevent unauthorized operation. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this valve in new construction and retrofit applications.
This valve is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, gas distribution piping, and industrial fluid-handling installations where positive shutoff and flow lockout are required. The threaded ends comply with ANSI B1.20.1, allowing direct connection to standard NPT-threaded pipe and fittings. Its operating temperature range of -20 degrees F to 300 degrees F makes it appropriate for both cold-water and low-pressure steam service. Installers working on potable water systems will note the NSF 61-G certification and IAPMO cUPC listing, confirming suitability for drinking water contact.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 3/4-inch NPT threaded piping in water, oil, gas, and low-pressure steam systems where a locking shutoff valve is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC requirements for gas service. Shut off the system supply pressure and depressurize the line completely before removing an existing valve or making new connections. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male NPT threads per code requirements. Do not exceed the rated 600 psi WOG or 150 WSP pressure limits for the connected service.
