The BK 102-333HC is a loose key hose bibb valve designed for controlling the flow of water or oil in residential and light commercial plumbing applications. The valve features a 0.5 inch male iron pipe (MIP) inlet and a 0.75 inch male hose thread outlet, providing a large-flow connection for outdoor or utility service points. A neoprene seal washer ensures a reliable shutoff, and the removable loose key design locks out unauthorized or unintended use when the key is not present. Pipe threads comply with ANSI B1.20.1 and hose threads comply with ANSI B1.20.7. The valve meets NSF 61-9 low lead standards, making it suitable for potable water systems.
This hose bibb is intended for use wherever a controlled, lockable outdoor water supply point is required. Typical installations include commercial facilities, irrigation supply lines, utility areas, and any location where valve access needs to be restricted when the key is removed. It is compatible with water and oil service lines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install hose bibb for residential and commercial plumbing systems requiring a 0.5 inch MIP inlet connection and a standard 0.75 inch male hose thread outlet.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before installing or removing the valve. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the MIP inlet threads before making up the connection. Keep the loose key in a secure location to maintain access control at the valve.
