The BINARY BC5-BNC-RG59 is a BNC male compression connector designed for terminating RG59 coaxial cable in low-voltage signal distribution systems. Compression-style termination creates a weather-resistant, mechanically secure connection that outperforms twist-on and crimp styles in pull-out resistance and long-term signal integrity. This connector is used by low-voltage technicians and A/V integrators to terminate coaxial runs for CCTV, analog video, and baseband signal applications. Each bag contains 20 connectors, making it a practical bench-stock item for installers working on multi-camera or multi-outlet projects.
The BC5-BNC-RG59 is suited for residential and light commercial installations where RG59 coaxial cable carries analog video, security camera feeds, or composite video signals. Compression connectors in this style are commonly installed on home runs terminated at patch panels, distribution amplifiers, DVR inputs, and camera pigtails. The 20-count bag format supports efficient use on mid-size jobs without carrying bulk inventory.
Designed as an OEM-style compression connector for use with RG59 coaxial cable in low-voltage signal distribution and security camera wiring applications.
Installation requires a dedicated BNC compression tool sized for RG59 cable. Power down or de-energize all connected equipment before terminating coaxial runs. Strip the cable to the tool or connector manufacturer's specified prep dimensions and seat the connector fully before compressing. Low-voltage coaxial wiring installations may be subject to NEC Article 820 requirements for community antenna television and radio distribution systems.
