The BINARY B8-FIBER2-4KHDR-50 is an active fiber optic HDMI cable engineered for long-distance 4K HDR signal transmission. Spanning 50 meters, it delivers high-bandwidth video and audio over a fiber optic core, eliminating the signal degradation and interference common to copper HDMI runs of this length. This cable is suited for commercial AV installations, custom integration projects, and any application where source and display are separated by distances that standard HDMI cables cannot reliably cover. Installation is handled by AV integrators and low-voltage technicians working in residential, commercial, and hospitality environments.
This cable is intended for permanent or semi-permanent AV system installations where 4K HDR content must be routed across significant distances — such as from a head-end equipment rack to a display in a conference room, lobby, or home theater. The 50-meter run length makes it appropriate for medium-to-large-scale integrations where in-wall or in-conduit routing is required. Its fiber optic construction resists electromagnetic interference from lighting, electrical conduit, and other infrastructure commonly found in commercial build-outs.
Designed as an active fiber optic HDMI cable for use with any HDMI-equipped source and display device supporting 4K HDR signal standards. Verify HDMI port compatibility and directionality at both ends before installation.
This cable should be installed by a qualified low-voltage technician or licensed AV integrator familiar with HDMI signal requirements and structured cabling practices. Power down all source and display equipment before making connections. Active fiber HDMI cables are directional — confirm the source end and display end are connected correctly per the cable labeling before routing. When pulling through conduit, use a pull sock and avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius to prevent damage to the fiber core.
