The BINARY B3-SUB-4 is a subwoofer interconnect cable designed to carry low-frequency audio signals between a preamplifier, AV receiver, or processor and a powered subwoofer. At 13.1 feet (4 meters) in length, it provides enough reach for typical home theater and distributed audio installations where the subwoofer cannot be placed directly adjacent to the source component. This cable is sold as a single unit and is intended for installation by AV integrators, low-voltage technicians, and custom electronics professionals.
The B3-SUB-4 is suited for residential and light commercial audio installations. Its 13.1-foot run length covers common subwoofer placement scenarios, including across-room runs in dedicated home theaters, media rooms, and multi-room audio systems. It is installed wherever a single-channel RCA subwoofer output needs to connect to a self-amplified subwoofer enclosure.
Designed as a standard RCA subwoofer interconnect cable suitable for use with AV receivers, preamplifier-processors, and powered subwoofers equipped with RCA subwoofer or LFE input and output jacks.
Installation is performed by low-voltage AV technicians or custom electronics integrators. Power down the AV receiver or processor and the subwoofer amplifier before connecting or disconnecting signal cables. Route cable away from AC power wiring to minimize noise induction. Follow applicable low-voltage wiring guidelines and any local jurisdiction requirements for in-wall cable routing if the cable is to be concealed.
