Best Welds 900-RG4518X36X1 is an R45 carbon steel solid welding rod supplied as a 1 lb tube containing 1/8 in (3.2 mm) diameter rods 36 in (914 mm) long. Copper-coated for oxy-acetylene gas welding, it is a general-purpose filler metal for welding low carbon steels up to 1/4 in (6.4 mm) thick, with a nominal tensile strength of 45 ksi and suitable for brazing without flux.
