Best Welds 900-316L332X36X1 is an ER316L stainless steel filler metal supplied as 3/32 in diameter rods, 36 in long, packaged in a 1 lb tube. The low-carbon composition (maximum 0.03% C) reduces the risk of intergranular carbide precipitation and is intended for welding 316 and 316L stainless steels and low-carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic alloys. Typical use is as TIG welding rods with tensile strength up to 55 ksi.
