The BESSEY DT2400-24 is an F-style sliding arm bar clamp built for heavy-duty clamping in woodworking, metal fabrication, and general assembly work. It delivers up to 1,700 pounds of clamping pressure through a 0.775-inch diameter high carbon steel spindle, giving tradespeople and skilled fabricators reliable grip without slippage or flex. The clamp reaches a maximum jaw capacity of 24 inches with an 8-inch throat depth, making it well suited for wide panels, box assemblies, and framing jigs. The electrogalvanized finish resists corrosion in shop environments. The composite T-handle provides comfortable torque application during single-hand operation.
This clamp is designed for use in professional woodworking shops, metal fabrication facilities, cabinetry production, and general trade assembly applications. The 1-3/16 by 19/32 inch steel rail runs 24 inches in length and includes the MorPad and standard rail profile. The sliding arm design allows rapid jaw positioning before final clamping, reducing setup time on repeated operations. Standard steel pads make this appropriate for flat, hard-surface workpieces.
Designed as an OEM-style fit within the BESSEY DT2400 series; compatible with standard DT2400S series accessories and replacement pads as indicated by the series designation in the product data.
Bar clamps require no power-down procedure but should be inspected for rail straightness and spindle thread condition before use under load. Apply clamping pressure gradually and evenly to avoid workpiece shifting. Do not exceed rated clamping pressure, and ensure pads are seated flat against the workpiece surface before final tightening. No specialized trade license is required, but proper clamping technique is critical for joint quality and operator safety.
