The BESSEY 660S-12 is an F-style sliding arm bar clamp built for trade and industrial use where controlled, repeatable clamping force is required. Rated at 726 pounds of clamping pressure, it accepts workpieces up to 12 inches in capacity and reaches a throat depth of 4 inches. The rail measures 7/8 by 11/32 inches with a 12-inch rail length, and the 5/8-inch-diameter spindle is machined from high carbon steel for durability under sustained load. The forged steel T-handle provides firm grip and consistent torque application. This clamp is part of the 660S series and is appropriate for woodworking, fabrication, and general assembly work performed by carpenters, ironworkers, millwrights, and other trade professionals.
The 660S-12 is suited for light-duty pad applications in shop and field environments where an F-style clamp with a sliding arm is preferred over a fixed-jaw design. The sliding arm allows quick jaw positioning before final tightening, reducing setup time on repetitive clamping tasks. The electrogalvanized finish provides corrosion resistance in shop conditions. The clamp includes a patented rail profile and replaceable swivel pads, making it a serviceable tool rather than a single-use consumable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct addition within the BESSEY 660S series; replacement swivel pads are available separately for this series.
This clamp is installed and operated by hand without special tools. Before applying clamping force, verify the swivel pads are fully seated and the sliding arm is locked securely against the workpiece. Do not exceed the rated clamping pressure by using pipe extensions or additional leverage on the T-handle. Inspect the rail and spindle threads periodically for wear or damage before use.
