The BESSEY 2400S-60 is an F-style sliding arm bar clamp built for professional woodworking, fabrication, and general assembly work. It delivers up to 2,800 pounds of clamping pressure across a maximum jaw capacity of 60 inches, making it suitable for large panel glue-ups, cabinet assembly, and structural fixture work. The sliding arm design allows rapid jaw repositioning without fully unwinding the spindle. The 0.775-inch diameter spindle is machined from high carbon steel, and the rail and frame are constructed from steel with an electrogalvanized finish for corrosion resistance. Installation and setup require no special tools.
The 2400S-60 fits into heavy-duty trade and shop applications where long-reach clamping is required. A 60-inch rail length and 5.5-inch throat depth allow clamping on wide or deep workpieces. The T-handle provides controlled torque application without a ratchet mechanism. The included ergonomic Bessey grip, MorPad, and patented rail profile are standard features of the 2400S series. This clamp is used by finish carpenters, millworkers, cabinet shops, metal fabricators, and general contractors.
Designed as a standard replacement or addition within the BESSEY 2400S series. Compatible with typical F-style sliding arm clamp applications in woodworking, metalworking, and general fabrication setups.
No power tools or electrical shutoff is required for clamp setup or use. Inspect the rail and jaw assembly for debris or damage before applying load. Do not exceed the rated 2,800-pound clamping pressure, and ensure pad contact is fully seated on the workpiece surface before tightening. Composite handle components should not be used to strike or pry workpieces.
