The BESSEY 1800L-12 is a heavy-duty F-style sliding arm bar clamp engineered for woodworking, metal fabrication, and general trade assembly work. It delivers up to 1,800 pounds of clamping pressure through a lever-actuated mechanism, allowing fast one-handed repositioning of the sliding arm. The rail measures 1-3/16 inches by 19/32 inches and runs 10 inches in length, giving a maximum jaw opening of 10 inches and a throat depth of 5-1/2 inches. Frame, pad, and handle components are steel construction with an electrogalvanized finish for corrosion resistance. Cabinetmakers, ironworkers, and general contractors use this clamp when a quick-adjust grip with high clamping force is required.
The 1800L-12 is suited for residential and commercial applications where panel glue-ups, framing assemblies, or fixture fabrication demand repeatable, controlled clamping force. The lever handle allows the user to set and release pressure quickly without a separate tool, making it practical on production benches or job-site work surfaces. The medium-duty steel pads distribute clamping load across the workpiece face, reducing surface marring on dimensioned lumber and steel flat stock.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct addition within the BESSEY 1800L Series F-style bar clamp line.
No power source or specialized tools are required to operate this clamp. Inspect the sliding arm rail and spindle threads for damage before each use and ensure the lever locks securely before applying load. Do not exceed the rated 1,800 lb clamping pressure, as over-tightening can damage workpieces or deform the spindle. Always store the clamp in a dry environment to preserve the electrogalvanized finish.
