The BERRY GLOBAL 626100 is a 6 mil black polyethylene sheeting roll measuring 40 feet wide by 100 feet long. It is a single-wound, unfolds construction designed for use as a vapor barrier, dust barrier, or general-purpose cover across construction, landscaping, and concrete curing applications. The sheet is lightweight yet resistant to tears and punctures while remaining pliable enough to conform to irregular surfaces. It meets ASTM D4397-91 and all associated specifications, making it suitable for jobsites where material standards are required. Licensed contractors, general trades, and concrete crews are the primary installers.
This sheeting is used in residential and commercial construction as a ground cover or under-slab vapor barrier, as a dust containment barrier during renovation work, as a landscaping ground cover, and as a concrete curing blanket. Its black color makes it well-suited for applications requiring light blocking or heat absorption. The 40-foot by 100-foot roll format covers large areas without seaming, reducing installation time on open floor pours and crawl space encapsulation projects.
Designed as a general-purpose polyethylene sheeting roll suitable for under-slab vapor barrier installation, crawl space encapsulation, construction dust containment, and exterior landscaping and curing cover applications.
Installation is typically performed by general contractors, concrete crews, or trades performing moisture management and encapsulation work. Overlap seams by a minimum consistent with local building code or project specifications when multiple runs are required. Secure edges with tape, stakes, or ballast to prevent displacement during wind or foot traffic. Inspect the sheeting for punctures before covering with concrete or backfill.
