The BELIMO z3075qpf-j is a ZoneTight quick-close valve (QCV) designed for hydronic zone control in commercial and residential HVAC systems. This 3-way valve carries a flow coefficient (Cv) of 4.6 and a 3/4-inch body size with press-fit end connections, making it well suited for terminal unit and air handler coil applications. The valve body is rated to 250 psi and supports chilled or hot water service, including glycol solutions up to 60 percent concentration. Chrome-plated brass trim provides corrosion resistance in demanding hydronic environments. HVAC hydronic technicians and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of this product.
This valve is applied in hydronic zoning systems where precise linear flow control is required at the terminal unit level. Its 3-way configuration allows for diverting or mixing service depending on piping arrangement. The press-fit end connections reduce installation time compared to threaded or flanged alternatives, making this valve a practical choice for fan coil units, chilled beams, and induction units in variable-flow hydronic loops running chilled or hot water, or glycol blends up to 60 percent.
Designed for use with chilled or hot water hydronic systems, including glycol solutions up to 60 percent. Intended for 3/4-inch (DN 20) piping with press-fit end connections. Specific actuator and system compatibility should be confirmed against BELIMO selection documentation prior to ordering.
Installation should be performed by a licensed mechanical contractor or qualified HVAC technician familiar with hydronic piping systems. Isolate and depressurize the hydronic circuit and allow fluid to cool before beginning valve replacement or installation. Press-fit connections require the appropriate press tool and jaw set rated for the pipe material and diameter in use. Follow applicable mechanical codes, including ASHRAE and local jurisdictional requirements, for hydronic system work.
