The BELDEN INC. TUSLG096R22N is a 96-fiber OS2 single-mode tight-buffered multiunit fiber optic cable rated for indoor riser (OFNR) installations. OS2 single-mode fiber supports long-distance, high-bandwidth data transmission with low attenuation, making this cable suitable for backbone runs in commercial and enterprise environments. The tight-buffered construction protects individual fibers from physical stress and simplifies termination. The CPE outer jacket provides durability for permanent indoor installations. This cable is sold as a single unit and is typically handled by licensed low-voltage contractors or data communications installers.
This cable is designed for indoor riser pathway installations between floors in commercial buildings, data centers, and campus backbone applications. The 96-fiber count accommodates high-density fiber distribution requirements where large numbers of connections must be routed through a single conduit or riser sleeve. The OFNR riser rating satisfies fire code requirements for vertical runs between floors, eliminating the need for conduit in many riser applications. It is commonly terminated with SC, LC, or ST connectors at patch panels or fiber distribution units.
Designed for use in indoor riser applications with OS2 single-mode fiber optic systems. Compatible with standard OS2 single-mode connectors and fiber distribution hardware used in commercial building backbone and data center cabling infrastructure.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or fiber optic installer in accordance with TIA-568 cabling standards and applicable local fire and building codes. Power down any active fiber transceivers before working on connected fiber runs. Observe the manufacturer minimum bend radius during pulling and routing to avoid fiber damage. Riser-rated cable must be routed through riser shafts or sleeves as required by local building and fire codes.
