The BELDEN INC. TT1LF006HNNN is a multimode riser-rated fiber optic cable built to OM1 specifications with a 6-fiber count and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. Rated OFNG for optical fiber nonconductive general use in riser applications, it is designed for structured cabling installations inside commercial and institutional buildings. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic gas and smoke emission in the event of fire, making it a code-appropriate choice for occupied high-rise and plenum-adjacent riser runs. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the primary installers of this cable type.
This cable is suited for indoor vertical riser runs between floors in commercial office buildings, hospitals, schools, and data centers. The OM1 multimode classification supports legacy and active multimode fiber networks operating at standard 62.5-micron core diameter. The 6-fiber count makes it appropriate for small backbone segments, inter-closet links, and riser distribution runs where moderate fiber density is sufficient. It is sold and installed as a single unit (EA) per the supplier unit of measure.
Designed as an OEM-style riser fiber cable for use in indoor multimode structured cabling systems requiring OM1-grade performance and an LSZH-rated jacket in riser pathways.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician familiar with NEC Article 770 requirements for optical fiber riser cables. De-energize any active equipment at both termination points before pulling and terminating fiber. Use appropriate cable pulling lubricant and observe the manufacturer-rated minimum bend radius to avoid microbend losses. Do not exceed the cable's rated pulling tension during installation.
