The 12-fiber construction supports high-bandwidth data transmission at 850 nm wavelengths, making it suitable for structured cabling installations in commercial and industrial buildings. This cable is designed for pulls through riser spaces between floors, where compliance with OFNR fire rating requirements is required by code. This cable is used in indoor riser applications within commercial buildings, data centers, and campus environments where a 12-fiber OM3 multimode backbone is required. OM3 glass supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at distances up to 300 meters and is compatible with LC, SC, and ST connectors commonly used in structured cabling systems.
