The BELDEN INC. HD4D0060220RJ is a hybrid optical fiber and copper conductor cable designed for high-density structured cabling installations. This assembly combines a 6-fiber OM4 multimode duplex tight buffer core with 2 conductors rated at 20 AWG, all within a CMR-OF (riser-rated, optical fiber) outer jacket. OM4 multimode fiber supports high-bandwidth applications including 40G and 100G Ethernet over standard multimode infrastructure. The CMR rating qualifies this cable for vertical riser runs between floors in commercial buildings per applicable fire codes.
This cable is suited for commercial and enterprise network installations where both fiber and low-voltage copper conductors must be routed together in a single cable run. Typical applications include data center backbone cabling, inter-floor riser distribution, and structured cabling systems where consolidation of fiber and copper reduces conduit fill and installation labor. It is installed by licensed low-voltage or telecommunications cabling technicians working to TIA-568 and NEC Article 770 standards.
Designed as an OEM-style structured cabling solution compatible with standard OM4 multimode fiber connectors and termination hardware used in commercial riser and backbone cabling systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or fiber optic cabling technician in accordance with NEC Article 770 and TIA-568 standards. De-energize any copper conductors and confirm fiber routes are clear before pulling cable through conduit or riser pathways. Observe minimum bend radius requirements for the fiber core during installation to prevent attenuation or fiber damage. Do not exceed the cable's rated pulling tension during installation.
