The BELDEN INC. CAF1309050 is a CAT6 patch cable terminated in the T568B wiring standard and rated CMR (Communications Multipurpose Cable, Riser) for in-wall and riser installations. At 50 feet in length, it is suited for structured cabling runs between network switches, patch panels, and end devices in commercial and light industrial environments. The open-boot connector design allows for easy handling and routing. Electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the primary installers of this cable type.
This patch cable is intended for horizontal and riser-rated network cabling applications in commercial buildings, data centers, and multi-floor installations. The CMR rating qualifies it for use in riser pathways between floors where fire-spread resistance is required. It is commonly pulled to connect structured cabling infrastructure to active networking equipment. The T568B termination is the predominant wiring standard in North American commercial installations and aligns with the majority of existing horizontal cabling plant deployments.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cable for CAT6 and CAT6E structured cabling systems using T568B-wired patch panels, keystone jacks, and network switch ports.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage technicians or electricians in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 cabling standards and applicable local codes. Verify that the existing horizontal cabling plant is also terminated to the T568B standard before deployment to avoid wiring mismatches. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing, and avoid running parallel to high-voltage conductors to prevent interference. Riser-rated cables must be installed in designated riser pathways as required by the applicable building and fire codes.
