The BELDEN INC. CAD1108025 is a Cat6a patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and industrial environments. Built to 28 AWG and rated CMR (Communications Multipurpose Cable, Riser), this cable meets riser-rated fire code requirements for vertical runs between floors. At 25 feet, it provides sufficient reach for cross-connects, patch panel terminations, and equipment rack connections. Licensed low-voltage and data cabling technicians are the primary installers of this product. The CMR rating makes it suitable for use in riser pathways without conduit where code permits.
This patch cable is suited for Cat6a network infrastructure in office buildings, data centers, and commercial facilities requiring 10-Gigabit Ethernet performance. It is used at patch panels, network switches, routers, and server connections. The 25-foot length is common in equipment room and telecommunications room applications where longer runs are needed between racks or to wall outlets. The gray jacket color supports standard color-coding conventions used in structured cabling systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-supply Cat6a patch cable compatible with Cat6a and backward-compatible Cat6 patch panels, keystone jacks, and RJ45 ports in structured cabling systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage cabling technician in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards and applicable local codes. Avoid sharp bends that exceed the cable minimum bend radius, as this can degrade signal performance. De-energize connected network equipment before patching into live panels where possible to prevent ESD damage to sensitive ports. Do not use this cable as a substitute for outdoor-rated or plenum-rated cable where those designations are required by code.
