Belden Inc. 6200UE 009U500 Multimedia Cable White

Product Description

The BELDEN INC. 6200UE 009U500 is a 2-conductor, 16 AWG multimedia cable designed for structured wiring and low-voltage signal or audio distribution applications. This cable ships in a 500-foot quantity and features a white jacket, making it well-suited for in-wall or surface-mounted runs where a clean, finished appearance is required. Licensed low-voltage contractors and AV integration technicians are the primary installers. The 2-conductor configuration and 16 AWG gauge make it appropriate for speaker feeds, intercoms, and similar distributed audio or control wiring tasks in residential and light commercial environments.

This cable is intended for use in multimedia and low-voltage wiring systems, including background audio distribution, intercom systems, and structured wiring installations. The white jacket color is commonly specified for installations in finished spaces where the cable may be visible or run through white raceways. The 500-foot put-up reduces the need for mid-run splices on longer residential or light commercial pulls.

Key Features

• 2-conductor construction suitable for balanced or unbalanced low-voltage signal and audio runs
• 16 AWG gauge supports longer cable runs with reduced resistance
• White outer jacket for finished-space and raceway installations
• 500-foot continuous put-up minimizes splices on extended runs
• Categorized as a multimedia cable for structured low-voltage wiring applications

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard supply item for residential and light commercial low-voltage multimedia wiring systems requiring 2-conductor 16 AWG cable.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or electrical contractor in accordance with applicable NEC Article 725 or 800 requirements for limited-energy and communications wiring. De-energize any connected equipment before terminating cable ends. Avoid running low-voltage multimedia cable parallel to and in close proximity to line-voltage conductors, as this can introduce interference. Use appropriate cable staples or low-voltage mounting brackets rated for the cable diameter to secure runs without crushing the jacket.
