The Belden FP4LD4F003M is an OM4 multimode fiber optic patch cable configured with four LC duplex connectors on one end and an MPO8 female connector on the other. This breakout-style cable is used to split a single MPO8 trunk port into four individual LC duplex channels, supporting high-density fiber distribution in structured cabling systems. At 3 meters in length, it is well suited for short runs within a rack or between adjacent equipment. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors install this cable where MPO backbone infrastructure connects to LC-interface transceivers and switches.
This patch cable is designed for use in high-density data center and enterprise network environments. The MPO8 female connector mates with MPO trunk cassettes, patch panels, and active equipment ports supporting parallel or bidirectional optics. The four LC duplex breakout legs terminate to SFP or SFP+ ports on switches, routers, media converters, or similar equipment. Its 3-meter length is appropriate for top-of-rack or end-of-row deployments where the cassette and active gear are in close proximity.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cable for use with MPO8-based fiber distribution systems and LC duplex port equipment in multimode OM4 fiber optic installations.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling contractors or qualified network technicians. Always inspect connector end-faces with a fiber inspection scope and clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable during routing. Ensure the MPO connector key orientation matches the polarity requirements of the connected cassette or trunk before insertion.
