The BECKETT f84-36 is a yarn-wound replacement filter element with gasket, designed for fuel oil filtration in residential and commercial heating systems. Built with a wound yarn construction, it captures particulate contamination before it reaches the burner, protecting downstream components and maintaining consistent fuel delivery. The included gasket simplifies servicing by providing everything needed for a complete element change in a single part. This element is installed by licensed oil heat technicians and HVAC service professionals performing routine filter maintenance on oil-fired heating equipment.
The f84-36 is intended for use in Fulflo Model FB4 and Westwood Model F80 and F84 oil filter housings. It fits residential and light commercial fuel oil systems where clean oil delivery is critical to burner performance and combustion efficiency. Routine replacement of this element is a standard part of annual oil heat system maintenance, typically performed during seasonal startup or at the time of a burner tune-up.
Designed for use in Fulflo Model FB4 and Westwood Model F80 and F84 oil filter housings in fuel oil heating systems.
This element is replaced by qualified oil heat technicians or HVAC service professionals during routine maintenance. Before servicing, shut off the fuel supply valve and de-energize the burner to prevent oil flow during the element change. Drain residual oil from the housing before removing the spent element, and inspect the housing bowl and sealing surfaces for wear or contamination. Dispose of used filter media in accordance with local regulations governing petroleum waste.
