This constant flow valve is specified for use with the BARD GV51 heat pump. It is suited for residential or light commercial water-source heat pump installations where maintaining a consistent water flow rate through the refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger is critical to system efficiency and equipment longevity. I was having issues with the heat pump going into Lockout. I learned that I didn't have enough water flow. I installed a few tees and ball valves for troubleshooting and figured out that my Constant flow valve was the problem. I had a hard time finding one anywhere else but thankfully Voomi had it and would sell it to me even though I'm not an HVAC contractor and then had fast shipping. The new one was brand new in the box and is working great. I'm currently cleaning the old one and I'm going to try to find out why it failed, probably dirt clogging it rather than a material failure.
